2009 SPICE ROUTE Viognier

2009 SPICE ROUTE Viognier

Grapes: Viognier  Origin: South Africa,
Lea & Sandeman review
An amazingly well controlled Viognier for the Southern Hemisphere. Peach stone fruit, good texture and a tight, dry finish.

Other reviews and comments
From the ever-inventive Charles Back, this is a Northern Rhône-style dry white with a powerful floral nose and dried peach opulence on the palate. Despite the power, it is not overwhelming but well-crafted and intense with lots of flavour in mini-Condrieu mould.
