|Sub-district||Côte de Beaune|
Olivier was forced to harvest his Santenay early because of the storm which passed over the southern end of Chassagne and Santenay and Maranges, but was able to leave this until much later, and as a result it is significantly richer and fuller, with nice tension and length.

60-year-old vines. Bright red. Light, sharp nose with some moss. Gentle but not dramatic.
15.5 Jancis Robinson MW OBE - www.JancisRobinson.com
This offers a solid step up in aromatic complexity with the ripe, fresh and layered nose of pepper and earth suffused red currant and black cherry aromas. There is excellent phenolic maturity to the supporting structural elements of the medium-bodied and admirably concentrated flavors that culminate in a tension-filled and mildly rustic but attractively persistent finish. A lovely and serious villages. 2016+

Domaine Hubert Lamy: Full Wine List and Profile
Olivier Lamy, has built on the solid foundations his father Hubert prepared with twenty years and more of work in the vineyards. Today the Domaine has 18.5 hectares of vines - 80% are Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir. The vines are in several appellations - Saint-Aubin, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and Santenay. The reputation of the domaine is now made, but the Saint Aubins, both red and white remain some of the bargains of Côte d'Or, and challenge the supposed superiority of the grander villages on a regular basis, both in terms of young and mature wines.
