This is a gorgeous ripe pinot with crisp fruit and silky texture. Very focussed and supple with lovely balance it drinks so well immediately but will evolve well over three years or so.

Few wine lovers can fail to have noticed the furore surrounding the 2010 Burgundy vintage - it's a well-worn epithet but 2010 was an excellent vintage and one that will find a space in most well-stocked cellars. Whilst most of the attention was lavished on wines for keeping, there are a few little gems that you can tuck into, more or less, straight away.
