Wonderfully expressive and beautifully focussed Vermentino from Tuscany's Maremma vineyards in the hills of Scansano overlooking the coast. The rootstock originates from the famous Santadi estate in Sardegna, but the fruit produced on this 'terroir' gives a much brighter and livelier wine. We discovered this year what we had suspected for a number of years now, that the blend does contain a small amount of Viognier which gives texture and aroma. A fabulous Vermentino.
