Lea & Sandeman review
Not very typical of Tempranillo on the nose, but lovely and ripe on the palate, with bags of rich fruit.Other reviews and comments

Mixed Cases
ARGIE BARGY
The odd territorial dispute or football match aside, we seem to like things from the Argentine. From Ricky Villa to the Tango, Eva Peron to corned beef, if it left the dockside in Buenos Aires it'll find a welcoming home in dear old Albion. And nothing finds a good home here more enthusiastically than Argentinean wine. Obviously, we're very much into Malbec here but, as this case proves, there's more to the story than that.
Ribera del Duero Spain
"Bodegas y Viñedos Montecastro's purple-colored 2008 Alconte is 100% Tempranillo. Smoke, mineral, licorice, and black fruit aromas inform the nose of this forward, sweetly-fruited, nicely priced offering. It can be approached now but will provide enjoyment for another 6-8 years."
Valdepeñas Spain
"A fantastic Tempranillo from the Valdepenas region, with five years bottle age so that it is showing exceptionally well. Aged twelve months in a combination of French and American oak, the palate displays mature notes with soft berry fruits and vanillin sweetness, with enough fresh acidity to carry through for a really good finish.
