Lea & Sandeman review
As exuberant as ever, this is a real can of tropical fruit juice, with notes of sweet lychees, pineapple, mango and citrus. Appeals to many, but not all.Other reviews and comments
It's incredible to think in all these years we haven't reviewed this wine which has such cult status. Well now the time has come! The price still reflects the wine's iconic status, which is impressive given the strong competition today. This has dazzling lime flavours with a strong lemon character too - more like lemon curd rather than fresh lemons. Taut on the palate with searing acidity and pithy grapefruit-flavoured chewiness. It's undeniably a good wine, but for the price....?
