|Origin||New Zealand, South Island|
Bright aromatics of ripe citrus, orange, lime and a touch of honey, with a stony note, pure and focused. The palate is broad with ripe fruit, a touch creamy, citrus, peach and orange blossom. Bright acidity, richness and grip, very complete and long.

Delicious fruity wine threaded with honeyed complexity.
Olly Smith, The Mail on Sunday (Sep 2016)
Delightful, mouthwatering Riesling from free-draining gravel terraces. Rich, opulent pineapple, peach and apricot with honey and waxy notes from a hint of botrytis. Light sweetness is balanced by lively acidity and freshness on the persistent finish, which has subtle phenolic grip.
91/100 Christelle Guibert, Decanter (Mar 2016)
Vegy spectrum of Riesling – Spätlese sweetness with just a little astringency but very fresh lime character. Racy and distinctive. 13%
16 Jancis Robinson MW OBE - www.JancisRobinson.com (Nov 2015)
The grapes for this wine are sourced from two vineyards: The Mound Vineyard and Bedford Vineyard, both situated on the north facing gravel terraces associated with the Waipara riverbed.
Left on the lees for just enough time to give length and intensity to the palate without distracting from the purity of fruit.
Aromas of beeswax, honey and stone fruit prevail combined with the classic mandarin spray typical of Waipara Riesling. A palate rich and full with intense flavours of melon, peach and manuka honey but balanced by lemon and lime acidity.
Tongue in Groove: Full Wine List and Profile
Six friends, five of them Roseworthy graduates (although the winemaker, Lynette Hudson, is a graduate of Lincoln) were prompted to form this 'perfect fit' team by the Canterbury earthquake and the realisation that they had to get on with doing something themselves as well as working for others. All well-connected in the NZ wine scene, they are able to source outstanding fruit and clearly have the expertise to turn this into outstanding wines. Check out their website at http://tongueingroove.co.nz/about/. Their first releases have already caused quite a stir - but are very limited in quantity.
