Lea & Sandeman review
This really floats. Floral and mineral-lifted nose, tiny touch of oak, good fresh acidity on finish.Other reviews and comments
This is slightly darker on the aroma. The mineral is quartzy. The attack by contrast is smooth pebble, but the middle palate is forceful, has depth, intensity and is well defined. There is gras to the body and decent grip. The finish is assertive and has both fruit and mineral in equal measure. There is a purity and honesty to this wine. Fine, maybe very fine. From 2009/10.
Sarah Marsh MW, The Burgundy Briefing
As it almost always is, this is more elegant and refined aromatically than the Vaillons with a floral, tidal pool and subtly spiced nose that introduces pure, intense and racy middle weight flavors that possess a minerally, detailed and lemon suffused finish. This is terrifically pure and absolutely worth a look. 2013+
