An 11 hectare property dating back to the nineteenth century with vineyards in Saint Christoly (deep gravel along the river) and Couqueques (limestone plateau) in the northern Médoc. It is owned by Stefan and Heike Paeffgen, who we assume are not of French origin, but who have clearly learnt how to make wine; this is one of four properties they own. The vineyards are planted with half and half Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, vines about 30 years old on average. The wine was classified Cru Bourgeois in 1932.
