Whilst all the attention is on Argentina claiming Malbec as its own, it does possess its own white variety - Torront茅s. This is a crossing of Mission (a variety grown by early Spanish settlers) and Muscat of Alexandria. It is brisk and aromatic and makes a lovely aperitif or cool drink of a Summer's day.
