Château Marojallia

France, Bordeaux

A four hectare vineyard, 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot, between du Tertre and Monbrison, belonging to Philippe Porcheron. This first 'garage' wine in Margaux caused a stir with it's early vintages (the 1999 and 2000 were made by Muriel Thunevin, but since then by M. Porcheron with Michel Rolland as consultant), which were lauded by Robert Parker from the first vintage. Since then the demand has cooled somewhat and most of the estate's production is in the second wine, Clos Margalaine.
