Château Mondion

France, Bordeaux

In 1995, after fifteen years as an IT manager in banking, Xavier Landeau changed the course of his career. He took over the family estate, inherited from four generations of winegrowers. On the Ambès peninsula, which is a wine region since the 17th century, he cultivates twenty hectares of vines, planted with classic Bordeaux grape varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon. In 1998, he replanted an ancestral grape variety named Petit Verdot, which is the emblem and memory of our terroir.
