Château de Malle is almost as famous for its gardens as its wine. Inspired by Florence and Versailles, Alexandre Eutrope de Lur Saluces had them laid out in the early 18th Century. The history of the estate goes back to Jacques de Malle who built the château in early 17th century, and it has remained in the same family ever since. Eventually the château came into the hands of Pierre de Bournazel who injected some much needed love and attention to the somewhat neglected estate.
