Founded in 1396, Chateau de Tracy has been in the hands of the d’Assay family for 610 years, which is something of an achievement in itself. Now run by Juliette, located in the village of Tracy sur Loire the estate covers thirty two hectares under production, on flint and kimmeridgian limestone south west facing slopes overlooking the Loire. With an average age of twenty four years the vines produce significantly lower yields than is the norm in the appellation, making for wines of great intensity, complexity and finesse.
