Domaine Jacques Prieur

France, Burgundy

Domaine Jacques Prieur is the only domaine to have vineyards in each of the the 5 Grand Crus appellations in Burgundy -Chambertin, Musigny, Clos de Vougeot, Corton Charlemagne and Musigny. In fact the domaine consists entirely of Premier and Grands Crus, with the exception of Clos de Mazeray in Meursault. Established in the late 18th century, the domaine has 21 hectares of vineyards, and is today overseen by Edouard Labruyère. Martin Prieur - the grandson of Jacques, who gave his name to the estate in 1956 - is still working in the vineyards and still has much to do with production.
