France, Savoie

Fabien Trosset and his partner Chloé started out on their own in 2011, with vines from the estate of Jean-Louis Trosset, and then in 2013 also took on part of the vineyard of Joseph Trosset, giving them 16 hectares in all, mostly planted with the red grape Mondeuse, in the 'cru' of Arbin. The rest is white wine, made from Jacquère, Altesse and Roussanne.

The vineyard is on the south and south-east-facing slopes of the Bauges massif, between Chambéry and Albertville, on quite rich, deep limestone clay soils. It is worked by 'lutte raisonnée, with treatments kept to the absolute minimum, and is certified 'Haute Valeur Environmentale'.
