The history of the Spiegelau glass factory dates back to at least 1521 when it was mentioned in the will of an Erasmus Mospurger. Over the years the company has made all sorts of glass products, from mirrors to snuff bottles. Today Spiegelau are known for high quality wine glasses. In 2004 Spiegelau were purchased by Riedel.
