We are particularly enjoying the 2011 vintage at the moment. There is something about Burgundy at this stage of development, when it's lingering between the fruit and the forest, that makes it particularly captivating. The obvious thing to do is pair it with juicy game but the wines in this selection have the body and tannin to cope with any Sunday lunch.
