Full ruby-red. Knockout nose combines complex dark berry notes, musky smoke and coffee, sexy oak and subtle earth tones. Dense, smooth and consistent, with explosive fruit and soil tones. Already wonderfully aromatic in the mouth. Finishes with noble tannins, great finesse and a hint of menthol austerity. Rating: 92-95 Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar (Mar 2003)
