Dark, nice nose of ripe fruit, sweet ripe cassis attack, dry finish but nicely put together and good value. Rating: 90 L&S (May 2005)

At several tastings, this wine was disappointing, despite the fact that the winemaking consultant is Stephane Derenoncourt’s wife, Christine. Deep ruby-colored, but light, diluted, and lacking concentration and depth, this blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Franc needs to be drunk during its first 7-8 years of life. Rating: 85 Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate, www.RobertParker.com(Jul 2010)
