We have admired this property in Saint Christoly for some time and their 2012 is the best we've tasted yet. There is an impressively 'grown-up' nose here followed on the palate by fresh, dry, crunchy, cassis fruit, but unlike in some vintages here we found a lovely filled-out style with a fleshy, plump-fruited middle. A good core texture and lovely shape to this brilliantly-priced, sophisticated Cru Bourgeois Claret. L&S (Oct 2016)

*Case price: Mix any 12 bottles of wine or 6 bottles of Champagne, Spirits or Fortified to get the 'case price' for each bottle.

Château Doyac

Located near Saint Seurin-de-Cadourne, a few miles north of Saint Estephe, Château Doyac has a surface of 20 hectares in one block and dates to 1850. The estate was purchased in 1998 by a young and dynamic winegrower, the Count Max de Pourtalès.

Significant investments have been made in the vineyards and the winemaking facilities and cellars have been completely modernized. Doyac is becoming well renowned among the new up and coming wines from the northern Médoc with plenty of finesse and structure.

This wine isn't currently part of a mixed case, but you can always browse our full selection of mixed cases here.
