The Marquis de Terme is a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. It sports a very composed, focused bouquet with Margaux-like floral aromas that waft gently from the glass. There is some good use of oak here. The palate is well balanced with firm, grippy tannins on the entry. This looks to be a classic Marquis de Terme with plenty of sappy black fruit towards the solid finish. It is missing a little persistency on the mouth, but hopefully it will soften and become a decent Margaux 2012. Rating: 89-91 Neal Martin, www.robertparker.com(May 2013)
