A familar style here - blackish purple colour, quite good crunch of intense black fruit, but seems a litle blocky. Will provide a satisfying drink. Rating: 89-89 L&S (Apr 2013)

The Marquis de Terme is a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. It sports a very composed, focused bouquet with Margaux-like floral aromas that waft gently from the glass. There is some good use of oak here. The palate is well balanced with firm, grippy tannins on the entry. This looks to be a classic Marquis de Terme with plenty of sappy black fruit towards the solid finish. It is missing a little persistency on the mouth, but hopefully it will soften and become a decent Margaux 2012. Rating: 89-91 Neal Martin, 2013)

A firm, narrowly constructed wine with a healthy color as well as attractive dusty, loamy soil notes intermixed with blue and black fruits, the 2012 Marquis de Terme's earthiness, moderate tannin and moderately concentrated style suggest drinking it during its first 10-12 years of life. 2013 - 2025 Rating: 85-87 Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate, 2013)

Rating: 88 Tim Atkin MW, 2013)

Dense purple red, quite rich cassis nose and nicely balanced Cabernet/Merlot fruit that will show well quite early. Drink: 2016 - 2024. Rating: 16.75 Steven Spurrier(Apr 2013)

Blackish purple. Exotic overripe notes on the nose. Juicy and fresh on the palate though and the oak is reasonably well managed. Dense and quite lip smacking with real refreshment value. 2024 - 2036. Rating: 16.5 Jancis Robinson MW OBE - 2013)

Rating: 17 Matthew Jukes 2013)

Shows a pleasant fitness, with a chalky grip that cuts through the core of crushed plum and steeped currant fruit. Dark tea and well-integrated toast notes grace the finish. Well-built. Rating: 90-93 James Molesworth, The Wine Spectator(Apr 2013)
