All the fruit from the normal 'Combe d'Orveau' fruit is in this. There's a tightness, but also an attractively vibrant precision. Floral with fine red fruit. Drinking range: 2019 - L&S (Nov 2014)

The 2013 Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes offers a gorgeous interplay of rich Chambolle fruit along with brighter aromatic notes and tension that are often found in the northern sector of the village, all backed up by silky tannins that confer finesse. The 2013 is mostly fruit from Les Bussières, along with three barrels that would have been the straight Combe d'Orveau Chambolle. Drinking range: 2018 - 2033 Rating: 90-92 Antonio Galloni, www.vinous.com (Apr 2015)

100-year-old vines. Much more intense than the village Gevrey from this address. Lots of charm in the build. Fruit almost hides tannins. There is a future but you could almost enjoy this now! Very clean and fresh but not at all skinny. Drinking range: 2017 - 2025 Rating: 17 Jancis Robinson OBE MW - www.JancisRobinson.com (Jan 2015)

(includes three barrels from the Combe d'Orveau): Bright, dark red. Aromas of cherry, spices, rose petal and menthol are accented by a piquant suggestion of blood orange. Distinctly brambly aromas of berries, rose and menthol. At once lush and bright, with a firm tannic spine giving the wine structure and grip. A very serious village wine in the making. Drinking range: 2020 - 2027 Rating: 89-91 Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar (Jan 2015)

Domaine Christophe Perrot-Minot

Christophe Perrot-Minot is now the fourth generation of his family producing wine on the estate after his great grandfather Amédée Merme devoted himself to the management and production of wine over 130 years ago. The estate has gone from strength to strength – always keeping the highest standards. Integrated viticulture has been practiced for many years now which has been adapted especially for the terroir. No herbicide or chemical fertilizer is used, instead, Christophe prefers to “stand back and listen to this terroir, only intervening when necessary or when the weather requires it, never systematically.” This is one of the star domaines of the whole of Burgundy.
