Great stuff, particularly considering this is from the tricky 2013 vintage. Many poor winemakers were caught out by the tricky conditions during the growing season, but the canny team here have made a belter. Fast becoming a go-to favourite with customers and staff a like - it is hard to beat this in terms of value for money from Bordeaux. This is real wine with a lovely Bordeaux personality, soft fruit - nicely fleshy, but then good unmistakable claret shape and spice. Delicious, guilt free, mid-week drinking. L&S (Oct 2015)

Owned by Château Lafitte - not that one! - that which is owned by Marie-Claude and Marcel Bonhur. A Bordeaux Supérieur, with vineyards covering 37 hectares in the region of Yvrac. With the average age of the vines being 35 years, their wines are intensely aromatic with deep and complex flavours that have the ability to be kept and matured. Stunningly good value!
