Attractive, quite full on the palate with balance and juice, but it was a little flattened by a recent SO2 adjustment when I tasted, and I'd expect it to put on weight and distinctiveness. Drinking range: 2019 - L&S (Nov 2014)

Much livelier than the Gevrey 2013 from this domaine, with some delicacy. Pretty and fresh. A composed, rewarding red burgundy with undertow. Drinking range: 2018 - 2025 Rating: 17 Jancis Robinson OBE MW - www.JancisRobinson.com (Oct 2018)

Perrot-Minot's 2013 Morey-Saint-Denis La Rue de Vergy is bright, focused and nicely delineated in the glass. Freshly cut flowers, red cherries, stone fruits, mint and slate all pulse with energy and salinity in this high-toned, aromatically expressive Burgundy. Readers will find all of the signatures of the vintage here. Drinking range: 2018 - 2025 Rating: 89-91 Antonio Galloni, www.vinous.com (Apr 2015)

Deep, bright red. Enticing aromas of redcurrant, raspberry and cherry accented by subtle spices and rose petal. Supple and fine-grained, showing good finesse to its fruit and spice flavors. Has the tannic spine to provide for a decade or more of useful life. Drinking range: 2018 - 2025 Rating: 88-90 Stephen Tanzer, www.vinousmedia.com (Jan 2015)

Domaine Christophe Perrot-Minot

Christophe Perrot-Minot is now the fourth generation of his family producing wine on the estate after his great grandfather Amédée Merme devoted himself to the management and production of wine over 130 years ago. The estate has gone from strength to strength – always keeping the highest standards. Integrated viticulture has been practiced for many years now which has been adapted especially for the terroir. No herbicide or chemical fertilizer is used, instead, Christophe prefers to “stand back and listen to this terroir, only intervening when necessary or when the weather requires it, never systematically.” This is one of the star domaines of the whole of Burgundy.
