This comes from vines high up above Saint Aubin on white limestone. Lean, racy, lemony, a bright linear wine with mineral zip, going towards Chablis in style. Drinking range: 2016 - L&S (Nov 2015)

*Case Price: Mix any 12 bottles of wine or 6 bottles of Champagne, Spirits or Fortified to get the 'case price' for each bottle.

Fine, smoky nose. Not the concentration or glamour of smarter appellations from Olivier Lamy but very well made. Drinking range: 2016 - 2018 Rating: 16 Jancis Robinson MW OBE - (Jan 2016)

Pleasant fruit. Juicy and rounded. Not so fruity; more savoury mineral. This has some bite too. 10 year old barriques. I like the snappy slightly tannic finish. “we try and keep this energy in the fruit.” Sarah Marsh MW, The Burgundy Briefing (Nov 2015)

Domaine Hubert Lamy

Olivier Lamy, has built on the solid foundations his father Hubert prepared with twenty years and more of work in the vineyards. Today the Domaine has 18.5 hectares of vines - 80% are Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir. The vines are in several appellations - Saint-Aubin, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and Santenay. The reputation of the domaine is now made, but the Saint Aubins, both red and white remain some of the bargains of Côte d'Or, and challenge the supposed superiority of the grander villages on a regular basis, both in terms of young and mature wines.
