Deep colour, full and succulent, stays fresh and with supple mid-palate weight and a fine, direct Médoc character. Refined, but not lacking spice and vigour, this is another excellent Médoc from Philippe and Gilles Reich, who also make the popular Château Aimée. Drinking range: 2020 - 2023 L&S (Jul 2020)

Château l'Argenteyre
Sandwiched between Picon and Le Peyrat just off the road to Valeyrac approximately 10km north of St Estephe, Chateau l'Argenteyre is owned by the Reich brothers Philippe and Gilles. Everything here is done by hand, hard graft in the vineyards, followed by careful considered winemaking, with aging for 12 months in oak prior to bottling.
