Lightly smoky and a little bit loose. Round and satisfyingly juicy. Drinking range: 2017 - 2021 Rating: 16 Jancis Robinson MW OBE - 2016)

The 2014 St Aubin les Princée has a nicely detailed bouquet with subtle white flower scents that will hopefully be expressed once in bottle. The palate is fresh and vibrant, quite linear in the mouth with a keen line of acidity, segueing into a finish with Granny Smith apple and freshly sliced pear. Nicely composed with moderate length, it will deserve a year in bottle. Drinking range: 2017 - 2021 Rating: 86-88 Neal Martin, 2015)

This has a note of florality. It is juicy, but also has a savoury salinity. The acidity is good and fresh. It is quite firm. I like it. Rating: 14.5 Sarah Marsh MW, The Burgundy Briefing(Nov 2015)

Musky aromas of flowers, spices and smoky minerality. Offers moderate density and a light touch to its lemon drop and mineral flavors. Nicely harmonious wine with ripe acidity and decent length. Rating: 87-89 Stephen Tanzer, 2015)

Domaine Hubert Lamy

Olivier Lamy, has built on the solid foundations his father Hubert prepared with twenty years and more of work in the vineyards. Today the Domaine has 18.5 hectares of vines - 80% are Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir. The vines are in several appellations - Saint-Aubin, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and Santenay, as well as the excellent Bourgogne Blanc. The reputation of the domaine is now made, but the Saint Aubins, both red and white remain some of the bargains of Côte d'Or, and challenge the supposed superiority of the grander village names on a regular basis, both in terms of young and mature wines.
