The 2016 Les Trois Croix from proprietor Bertrand Léon has a gorgeous and very pure bouquet with black cherry and cassis fruit, well defined with light marine influence. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp acidity, moderate complexity with a gentle grip on the finish. I would just like a little more personality to show through by the time of bottling. Drinking range: 2020 - 2030 Rating: 88-90 Neal Martin, 2017)

Another excellent Fronsac with blackberries, blueberries and cherries. Medium body, fine tannins and a structured finish. Rating: 90-91 James Suckling, 2017)

The 2016 Les Troix Croix is gorgeous. Sweet floral notes give the intense red and purplish-hued fruits lovely aromatic lift and presence. Powerful and very ripe , but not at all heavy, the 2016 stands out for its impeccable balance and class. Rating: 89-91 Antonio Galloni, 2017)
