Stefan's Pinots are really going from strength to strength. His vineyards in Essenheim are producing such fabulous fruit, elegant, perky Pinot characters full of grace and just enough energetic vim to keep this juicy and engaging. Softer fruit aromatics build in the middle, and are enlivened with a twist of juice and sappy grace on the finish, this a wonderfully easy wine to go back to for another glass. L&S (Sep 2019)

*Case price discount: Mix any 12 bottles (or 9l equivalent) of wine or 6 bottles of Champagne, Spirits, Sweet Wine or Fortified to get the 'case price' for each bottle.

Weingut Braunewell

François Breiniville fled 17th Century France's Huguenot persecution to settle in Essenheim, just south west of Mainz. It took until the 1960's for Adam Braunewell to start bottling the wines from his family's vineyards and, today, he helps his children and grandchildren run this excellent estate and tend their flagship vineyards of Blume and Teufelspfad (the Devil's path!)
