|Sub-district||Côte de Beaune|
Very bright pale colour, a délice from start to finish: a slight bitterness keeps the freshness - full-flavoured, ripe and long. Lots of richness here. Drinking range: 2018 - 2025 L&S (Jul 2018)

An overtly citrus-inflected nose is ripe and fresh with its vaguely exotic aromas of white peach and passion fruit. The beautifully textured and again well-concentrated flavors display obvious minerality before concluding in a lemony and bone dry finale. This should drink well young if that’s your preference. Drinking range: 2025 - Rating: 91-93 Allen Meadows, www.Burghound.com(Jun 2019)
Aromas of white flowers, lime cordial and ripe citrus fruit introduce the 2017 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly, a medium to full-bodied, ample and layered wine with a tensile, tight-knit core, chewy extract, tangy acids and a stony finish. The wine's mid-palate volume is classic Remilly but it's as controlled and precise as all Lamy's wines. Rating: 91-93 William Kelley, The Wine Advocate(Jan 2019)
The 2017 Saint-Aubin En Remilly 1er Cru comes courtesy of 2.02ha of vine planted in 1989. There is a sense of completeness on the nose here: wonderful wet limestone and oyster shell notes, plenty of fruit and concentration. The palate is well balanced with a fresh opening, very saline in the mouth with a vibrant and sustained finish. This is a "killer" En Remilly. Drinking range: 2021 - 2035 Rating: 92-94 Neal Martin, vinous.com(Jan 2019)
This sample was just 2 barriques and it is racy, very lime-like... Good energy, but much riper than the Dents de Chien... just hovering on the point of over-ripe, but catches the moment and stays in the right zone.Sarah Marsh MW, The Burgundy Briefing(Dec 2018)
Domaine Hubert Lamy
Olivier Lamy has built on the solid foundations his father Hubert prepared with twenty years and more of work in the vineyards. Today the Domaine has 18.5 hectares of vines - 80% are Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir. The vines are in several appellations - Saint-Aubin, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and Santenay, as well as the excellent Bourgogne Blanc. The reputation of the domaine is now made, but the Saint Aubins, both red and white, remain some of the bargains of Côte d'Or, and challenge the supposed superiority of the grander village names on a regular basis, both in terms of young and mature wines.
Olivier's wine-making style and preference is to emphasise the fresh and the mineral side of his wines, and in 2016 and 2017 there was no new wood at all, and that is with the wines in 600 litre demi-muids rather that the classic Burgundy (225 litre) fût. Certainly Oliver's whites do have an arrow-like purity and intensity, and seem to age completely straight and true.
The reds are worth more than a casual mention too. Olivier has been getting some consultation help from Sylvain Pataille, and the wines have energy and bounce along with the supple tannins and ripeness.
