An agreeably fresh nose features notes of both red and blue pinot fruit along with pretty spice and soft earth nuances. There is excellent volume and mid-palate density in the context of what is typical for the genre to the delicious flavors, all wrapped in a lingering and complex finish that exhibits only a hint of rusticity. This is a very fine Bourgogne and worth checking out. Drinking range: 2023 - Rating: 87-89 Allen Meadows, www.Burghound.com (Jan 2021)

Exhibiting inviting aromas of cherries and berries, framed by a deft touch of wood, Perrot-Minot's 2019 Bourgogne Vieilles Vignes is medium-bodied, polished and charming, with melting tannins, succulent acids and a pretty core of fruit. Rating: 87-89 William Kelley, The Wine Advocate (Jan 2021)

In barrel, unracked. Rich purple, with, unexpectedly, a lightly herbal nose. There is a rich volume of fruit of course behind this. Tasted: November 2020 3/5 stars Rating: 86-87 Jasper Morris - Inside Burgundy  (Jan 2021)

Domaine Christophe Perrot-Minot

Christophe Perrot-Minot is now the fourth generation of his family producing wine on the estate after his great grandfather Amédée Merme devoted himself to the management and production of wine over 130 years ago. The estate has gone from strength to strength – always keeping the highest standards. Integrated viticulture has been practiced for many years now which has been adapted especially for the terroir. No herbicide or chemical fertilizer is used, instead, Christophe prefers to “stand back and listen to this terroir, only intervening when necessary or when the weather requires it, never systematically.” This is one of the star domaines of the whole of Burgundy.
