From the coolish slopes near the large Etang de Thau and just a stone's throw from the Med comes this cracking, crisp Merlot and Cabernet blend, with a touch of Carignan for spice. it is a light and easy-drinking wine. Perfect ‘house’ style - light enough to drink on its own but also an ideal match for crusty bread and paté or even bangers and mash. Super value! L&S (Jun 2022)

Terroir : Clay and limestone
Cépages : Merlot 60%, Cabernet Sauvignon 20%, Carignan 20%
Vinification : Grapes are totally destemmed and put in tanks separately ; pumping-overs are regularly done and temperatures are kept at approx. 28° C.Maceration is relatively short, once it is finished, running off of the juice in order to keep smooth tannins. The different grapes are then blended.
Tasting Notes : Nice ruby red robe ; fruity nose of cherry, blackberry ; well balanced wine in the mouth with smooth tannins. Food Match : Perfect partner for beef or chicken.
