From Bourgogne vines below Nuits and Chambolle, plus Hautes Côtes vines in Arcenant, which are high trained. 4ha in all to supply this important cuvée. No punching down, just turn over the cap with a fork. A pretty, light purple with a graceful pinot on the plumper side for the vintage. Very peppery at the finish, a signal of the vintage with a fresh orange-red fruit, and some acidity. Drinking range: 2024 - 2027 Rating: **** 87-88 Jasper Morris - Inside Burgundy (Nov 2022)

The lack of the word 'domaine' in the name signals that this is a négociant wine from Thibault Liger-Belair. On the whole Thibault buys grapes having tended the vines with his own team, so that the wines are domaine wines in all but name.
