This is good. Crisp pure fruit. Dark and nicely rich - but there is a really lovely line of ripe black cherry juice, that is deeply pleasing. Pert and fresh - this has a cool wind somehow - really impressive in such a warm year. This freshness tells the story of this ideal spot, high on the plateau, with good fresh breezes. Pierre did a huge job throughout the season to avoid another 2003! And he is very successful with La Mitote. A tiny estate with huge potential. Drinking range: 2025 - 2033 L&S (Apr 2023)
