Macabeo can sometimes be a little, shall we say, dull, but this version is nothing of the sort. Fresh and with great intensity on the nose of greengage, chamomile, fresh hay and delicate citrus. The palate is deliciously intense with yellow fruits, wildflowers, fragrant herbs and a bounce of juicy fresh acidity. A quite brilliant everyday wine, great for one's pocket and great for the world, farmed organically these farmers are thinking of the future. L&S (Mar 2025)

Bodegaverde de San Valero is a collective of 66 local growers who combined their efforts to form this co-operative all the way back in 1944. Dial forward to the modern day, through years of innovation and careful husbandry and in 2019 the growers launched their first fully organic wines.
