Hand-harvested, selected 100% Tinta del País (Tempranillo) vines with an average age of 40 years from Pesquera vineyards, aged 6 months in American oak barrels. Redcurrant in colour with violet undertones showing great depth and intensity and good legs. Powerful bouquet of cherries, ripe blackberries, blueberries and redcurrants which accentuate the Tempranillo. A lovely seam of freshness on the palate, fleshy red and blackcurrant fruits with mocha and chocolate and spice notes, elegant, silky, smooth, mouthwateringly juicy, rounded with sweet tannins leaving a clean aftertaste. Best served at 18°C. Ideal with ham, roast lamb, cured cheeses. Winemaker's notes (Sept 2025)
