Dyfi Original was awarded Best British Gin at the 2018 Great British Food Awards, and is our most classic gin, though with important supporting roles from bog myrtle (from Dyfi Estuary, gives flavours of sage, bay, eucalyptus) and conifer tips (from Dyfi Forest, closely supports juniper notes, but also provides a different pinene dimension). Dyfi Distillery
The Dyfi river is the only UNESCO World Biosphere in Wales and here, in the old slate mining village of Corris Pete Cameron and Danny Cameron founded the very small scale Dyfi Distillery. All their gins are made from wildly sourced botanicals from the local area.
