Matured 10-years ex-Bourbon oak in the tropical climes of Barbados. This is a rich and velvety rum. Deep amber in colour with a nose of fruitcake, toffee, spice, almond and vanilla. Equally opulent on the palate with an element of orange peel and tropical fruits. A drying spice adding complexity to the long finish. Made by the legendary Foursquare Distillery in Barbados. Foursquare are one of the last independent, family-own distilleries in the Caribbean. Richard Seal, the current head, is a well known advocate for additive-free, artisanal methods in rum production, in stark contrast to much of the rum world. L&S (May 2026)
