This is a very exciting new release from our favourite local distillers - the team at Sipsmith in Hammersmith. This packs a real punch not only the 57% alcohol but the intense Juniper notes which are at the heart of this very limited release - catch it while you can! L&S (Nov 2013)

Intense, bold nose filled with rich juniper and spice. Enters the mouth with authority delivering deep, powerful flavours while remaining well balanced and elegant. The flavours enjoy the alcoholic lift and show well. A gin for sipping, with a mixer or as a cocktail component. Rating: Silver Outstanding International Wine & Spirit Competition 2014

We've taken our LDG (London Dry Gin) recipe and tweaked it slightly - only significantly upping the juniper content. It enjoys a 3 day maceration time (Friday to Monday) which serves to add to the intensity of the finish gin. The other facet of this is a methodology we've coined 'Triple Juniper'. Having firstly upped the juniper content of the recipe quite considerably we then add another dose of the fruit just prior to distillation (adding further intensity throughout the heart cut run) as well as putting juniper in the carter head thereby offering more weight to the aromas of the gin. It is finished at 57.7%abv and is an all round stunner of a gin. A 'Gin Lover's Ultimate' you may say.
