The Strawberries and Cream Mixed 6 Case
As the grass courts are manicured and the great British summer officially gets underway, certain traditions become mandatory. Wimbledon simply is not complete without the classic pairing of strawberries and cream on the lawn. Rather than fetching a bowl and a spoon, we thought it would be much more enjoyable to put this iconic flavour profile directly into your glass. We have assembled a unique 6-bottle mixed case of sparkling wine that perfectly mirrors this mid-summer ritual. This six-bottle collection pairs the prestige of artisanal grower Champagne with the absolute vanguard of English sparkling wine.
The Strawberries:
To represent the fruit of the season, we have selected three masterful, red-fruited rosés.
  • NV FOSSILE Rosé Brut, M & G Heucq: Fresh and succulent, driven by fossil-grown Pinot Meunier that delivers waves of wild strawberry and spring blossom.

  • NV Rosé Extra Brut 1er Cru, Gonet-Médeville: A taut, linear rosé offering high-toned wild currant and pink peppercorn, underscored by a sharp chalky tension.

  • English Summer Rosé, Nyetimber: A radiant, bakery aromas laden English classic bursting with redcurrant and tart cherry fruit.

The Cream:
To complete the pairing, we matched them with three profound Blanc de Blancs. By using malolactic fermentation and extensive cellar aging, benchmark estates weave a distinct, pastry-rich, lactic creaminess right into their pure Chardonnay fruit.
  • NV Blanc de Blancs Brut Grand Cru, R&L Legras: A masterclass in Chouilly Chardonnay. Full malolactic fermentation provides a generous, billowing, and deeply voluptuous palate.

  • NV LA TABLE RONDE Blanc de Blancs, Lancelot Pienne: Vibrant Cramant chalk softened by the immense, complex brioche notes of a perpetual reserve dating back to 1998.

  • NV Latitude Extra Brut 1er Cru, Larmandier-Bernier: A sunnier vineyard aspect offering a muscular expression of southern Vertus, with a silky, mouth-coating texture and notes of lemon confit and fresh bread.
