Celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with L&S
Being proud Royal Warrant holders we wanted to do something special to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. So we decided to put together a selection of wines paired with selected recipes from the recently published Platinum Jubilee Cookbook to help you celebrate the long bank holiday weekend.
This rather beautiful cookbook - which is included in the case - has been compiled in honour of Her Majesty's Platinum Jubilee and brings together 70 recipes submitted by British Embassies & High Commissions from around the world. Most of these recipes from the book have been served during Royal visits.
From the aptly named Platine 1er Cru Extra Brut NV Champagne from Nicolas Maillart, to the (tongue firmly in cheek here) Maga-sty Godello and not forgetting (getting seriously tenuous now) some Le Petit Roy-al, there is something for all palates.
Being serious for a moment though, this is a fabulous collection of wines that should make any (street) party go with a twist and a twirl.
