Fine nose, delicate and airy, palate fresh and silkily insinuating, floral and stony at the same time. Complete and nicely long, a lovely village wine. Drinking range: 2015 - 2019 L&S (Dec 2014)

Pale yellow. Pure musky peach on the nose. Dense, sweet and tightly wound, with sound acidity giving this wine surprising energy. The peachy fruit offers the balance for early drinking but there's still plenty in reserve. I'd wait at least a year before pulling the cork. Perfumed with ripe stony fruit and sweet spices, elegant mouthfeel and a long peachy finish Drinking range: 2016 - 2020 Rating: 90 Gerard Basset OBE MW MS, Decanter(Feb 2015)

Scented, lively and aromatic (quite a contrast to the Rémi Jobard wines I have just been tasting). Almost dry German Riesling-like. Needless to say, I like it. Very satisfying with many layers and it’s relatively approachable. Dry but not drying finish with excellent acid level. (a blend of seven parcels on the Chassagne-Montrachet side of the appellation, five of them in Enseigneres): Pale yellow. Pear and white peach on the nose. Tactile, saline and very fresh, with good lemony cut and some unabsorbed CO2 contributing to an impression of precision. No shortage of acidity here. Should make an excellent village wine. Domaine Jean-Marc Boillot
Jean-Marc Boillot left the family domaine to be winemaker to Olivier Leflaive for five years. Then from his maternal grandfather Étienne Sauzet he inherited much of the vineyard of the old Domaine Sauzet, in some of the best vineyards of Puligny, and with this holding and others from his paternal side, he set up his own business. He makes wines that show well young, with complex exotic fruit aromas with the core of minerality, but they age well too. His daughter Lydie and son are now taking a more active role in the domaine, and they have branched out with a thriving négociant business and a property near the Pic Saint Loup in the Languedoc - Domaine des Roques.
