The 2018 Chassagne-Montrachet Morgeot 1er Cru comes from a mere 0.33 hectares of 80-year-old vines located just below the Abbaye de Morgeot lieu-dit. It has a fresh, vibrant bouquet of apricot, orange pith and light crushed stone aromas – probably my pick of the aromatics among the four white 2018s tasted from Dugat-Py. The palate is very well balanced with a slightly creamy opening, lovely apricot and clementine notes, a fine line of acidity and an energetic finish. This is a quite superb Chassagne from the Gevrey producer. Drinking range: 2023 - 2038 Rating: 92 Neal Martin, www.vinous.com (Dec 2020)

Domaine Dugat-Py, along with only DRC, Roumier, Rousseau and Leroy, is rated in the top Three Star category by the 'Classement' published by the Revue du Vin de France. These are the essence of robust Burgundy, wines of huge scale and concentration. Patience is required, so lay down a few grand bottles for your dotage.
