2018 has produced some seriously lovely wines at many levels and this is one such example. Well endowed with cassis, plum and tobacco. In the mouth it has ripeness balanced by a lovely frame of fine tannins, notes of smoked tea, chocolate and supple cassis once more. L&S (Dec 2021)

*Case price discount: Mix any 12 bottles (or 9l equivalent) of wine or 6 bottles of Champagne, Spirits, Sweet Wine or Fortified to get the 'case price' for each bottle.

Château Mondion

In 1995, after fifteen years as an IT manager in banking, Xavier Landeau changed the course of his career. He took over the family estate, inherited from four generations of winegrowers. On the Ambès peninsula, which is a wine region since the 17th century, he cultivates twenty hectares of vines, planted with classic Bordeaux grape varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon. In 1998, he replanted an ancestral grape variety named Petit Verdot, which is the emblem and memory of our terroir.
