Tantalizing aromas of ripe strawberries, violets and cherries with some light bark. Medium-to full-bodied with firm, very silky tannins that are extremely polished and fine. Love the balance and focus to this. Try after 2022. Drinking range: 2022 - Rating: 94 L&S (Aug 2020)

Sweeter attack than on the Lavaux. A pretty Chambolle-like fruit note draws you in - but then it gets more serious quite quickly . A rush of polished but firm tannins build and add real substance. Delicious in fact. Sweet fruit - and good bones - nicely balanced. - will need time - but that fruit is hard to resist already. Indulgent and delicious sweet, dark red coulis.L&S (Nov 2019)

The 2018 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Cazetiers 1er Cru shows some reduction on the nose (a common trait amongst the flight of Cazetiers) but there is decent, quite intense red fruit underneath, waiting to blossom. The palate is medium-bodied with a smooth, plush veneer. Quite oaky at the moment and yet there is sufficient fruit to soak that up with 3-4 years in bottle. A luxuriant finish in the positive sense of the expression. Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2018 red tasting. Drinking range: 2024 - 2045 Rating: 94 Neal Martin, www.vinous.com (Nov 2022)

(from a huge 3.96 ha parcel). This is very Gevrey in character with plenty of sauvage, freshly turned earth, forest floor and brooding wild dark berry and cassis scents. There is fine richness to the concentrated, powerful and full-bodied flavors that exhibit a subtle minerality on the moderately austere and impressively long and slightly grippy finale. Drinking range: 2030 - Rating: 90-93 Allen Meadows, www.Burghound.com (Jan 2020)
