Just feels so enticing. A perfect Pinot attack. Sits so nicely on the palate. Fresh fruit - great bounce and drive. Deep red berries and softly cooked plum flesh. Sweeter notes build on the palate - but this has fine structure and delicious flow. L&S (Nov 2019)

(from a large 1.21 ha parcel). There is very good freshness to the ripe but cool aromas of red and dark raspberry, forest floor, spice and a whiff of wood. The intensely mineral-driven middle weight plus flavors pack impressive punch and a taut muscularity along with outstanding depth, precision and sneaky good length on the firm, austere and built-to-age finale. This refined effort is terrific and very Latricières in character. Drinking range: 2038 - Rating: 92-95 Allen Meadows, www.Burghound.com (Jan 2020)

Aromas of cassis, wild berries, blood orange and coniferous forest floor introduce the 2018 Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru, a full-bodied, immensely refined wine that's built around powdery tannins and a bright spine of acidity. Long and perfumed, this is a superb bottle in the making that will reward bottle age. Rating: 94-96 William Kelley, The Wine Advocate (Jan 2020)

Barrel sample. Mid crimson. Openly fragrant with sweet, vanilla-laced dark-red fruits. Really intense fruit on the nose. Ripe yet pure and fresh. On the palate, an excellent combination of fresh restraint and scented fruits. Dense but elegant. Very good, very long. Great harmony already and so much more to come. Drinking range: 2026 - 2038 Rating: 18 Julia Harding MW, www.JancisRobinson.com (Dec 2019)
