The nose is bright and lifted, the palate supple and silky - lots of body again - rich. Super texture with very black fruit - it stays supple but also so intense. 'Là il y a plus de race', says Loïc. Drinking range: 2028 - 2042 L&S (Oct 2020)

Aromas of cherries, raspberries, raw cocoa, spices and smoked meats introduce the 2019 Beaune 1er Cru Grèves, a medium to full-bodied, layered and concentrated wine that's deep and mineral, with racy acids and a tightly wound core. Domaine Dugat-Py
Domaine Dugat-Py, along with only DRC, Roumier, Rousseau and Leroy, is rated in the top Three Star category by the 'Classement' published by the Revue du Vin de France. These are the essence of robust Burgundy, wines of huge scale and concentration. Patience is required, so lay down a few grand bottles for your dotage.
