Very sleek and silky, a lovely fresh cool expression of dark fruit (very dark), and a firm mineral core giving drive and class. Excellent - very long. Drinking range: 2030 - 2040 L&S (Nov 2020)

(from a large 1.21 ha parcel). There is a distinctly cool quality to the restrained, ultra-fresh and airy aromas of red currant, raspberry, earth and whiffs of spice and the sauvage. The rich and beautifully delineated middle weight flavors possess superb focus along with an abundance of minerality that seems to build on the complex, refined and highly persistent finish. This classy and harmonious effort should amply repay extended cellaring. Drinking range: 2036 - Rating: 93-95 Allen Meadows, www.Burghound.com (Jan 2021)

One of the finest cuvées in the portfolio is once again the 2019 Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru, a medium to full-bodied, deep and layered wine of unerring precision. Vibrant and multidimensional, it evokes aromas of dark berries, rose hip, bergamot, spices and black truffle. This will be worth a special effort to seek out. Rating: 94-96 William Kelley, The Wine Advocate (Jan 2021)

Excellent depth of crimson purple. The bouquet is immediately striking for its depth of fruit, sense of nobility, and no sign of an over hot vintage. The oak is very well judged here and the wine comes through with superb depth and balance. Better yield here. The fruit has a small liquorice note at the end, very well integrated with the pure red fruit. Tasted: November 2020 ***** Rating: 95 - 98 Jasper Morris - Inside Burgundy  (Jan 2021)
