From a vineyard in Gevrey-Chambertin, vines between 35 and 85 years old. 18 months in wood (10% new). The density is dialled up from the 'simple' Bourgogne, but so is the class. A lot of other growers would be happy to call this their Gevrey. Approachable now with probably another ten years ahead. Drinking range: 2026 - 2035 L&S (May 2026)

Domaine Dugat-Py, along with only DRC, Roumier, Rousseau and Leroy, is rated in the top Three Star category by the 'Classement' published by the Revue du Vin de France. These are the essence of robust Burgundy, wines of huge scale and concentration. Patience is required, so lay down a few grand bottles for your dotage.
